About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Program Manager to lead a complex Cloud Transformation Program for a major enterprise client. This role is pivotal in orchestrating multi-workstream cloud initiatives across public, private, and hybrid environments, ensuring strategic alignment, stakeholder engagement, and successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.

This is a full-time, one-year contract opportunity with the potential for extension based on program milestones and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Cloud Transformation Program, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams including Cloud Architects, DevOps, Security, PMO, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Drive the execution of cloud adoption, migration, and modernisation projects (Lift-and-Shift, Replatforming, Refactoring).
  • Develop and maintain the overall program plan, roadmap, RAID logs, governance structure, and communication channels.
  • Ensure effective change management and risk mitigation across all phases of the program.
  • Liaise with C-level stakeholders, business units, and third-party vendors to ensure transparency and buy-in.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, program performance, and deliverables using dashboards and executive summaries.
  • Oversee the management of budgets, timelines, dependencies, and compliance with organisational policies and cloud governance frameworks.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, with at least 2 years leading Cloud Transformation or IT Infrastructure Programs.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and migration strategies.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-disciplinary teams and complex enterprise-scale programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
  • Familiarity with IT governance, compliance, and frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or TOGAF.
  • Hands-on experience with program tools (Jira, MS Project, or similar).
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
  • Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid delivery methodology experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Google Cloud Professional).
  • Experience in the Financial Services, Government, or Healthcare sectors.
  • Understanding of FinOps, Cloud Cost Management, and Business Case Development.
